Above mullets, power ballads and double denim, the greatest legacy of 80s is undoubtedly its fine cinematic offerings.
From Robocop to The Shining, Teen Wolf to Karate Kid, it was a decade of guilty pleasures and cult classics whose charm endures to this day. An awful lot like LEGO. Right?
Fine, it's an obscure link - but it's the best we could to do to introduce Hero Complex Gallery's exhibition of LEGO Memories by Dan Shearn: a recollection of the 80s through the medium of blocky LEGO figures.
On display at the LA gallery from 20 - 29 June, you'll be able to nab prints of your favourite work for £13 ($20) from 21 June. Head over to Shearn's Behance site to see more of his work and drop us a line if you fancy joining our petition to demand LEGO make all of these minifigs a reality.
