Calling all data addicts and meteorological enthusiasts - the German designers at Raureif have created your new pin-up obsession.

Weather Radials tells the story of 35 cities-worth of weather for the year of 2013, from temperature spikes to freak snow storms.

Each of the chosen 35 cities has its own radial: January starts in the 12 o'clock position, months following in a subsequent clockwise fashion. A temperature line indicates the maximum and minimum temperature recorded that day - the average denoting the colour of the line. The closer to the centre of the circle, the colder the day. Precipitation is shown with a blue circle, the more rain that fell from the skies, the larger the dot. Unusual or notable weather events are then highlighted with their own brief explanation.

All this culminates in one great big weather-off, as major cities of the world flex their meteorological muscles - Tel Aviv proudly sports a long, hot summer, while London hardly went a week without some sort of downpour.

Head over to the Weather Radials to pick up a copy of the poster. Here's hoping the UK summer is punctuated with fewer blue circles for 2014.
