Modern art. We've all thought it, traipsing around a gallery filled with inconsequential piles of rubble with the occasional eruption of paint smeared over them: surely we could do that? Our dog could probably do that, if you locked it in a room with a squirrel and some open tins of emulsion.
The iam8bit Entertainment System exhibition is our kind of modern art. This retro video game-themed art show will exhibit the work of over 80 artists, each paying tribute to an unforgettable era of gaming in a variety of styles.
Held in the iam8bit Gallery in Los Angeles, the exhibition will be running from June 7 to June 30. We've booked our tickets, but if you don't fancy travelling all that way, check out the following gems.
