Roger Corman and Joe Dante art exhibition

Roger Corman and Joe Dante art exhibition

Roger Corman and Joe Dante art exhibition
21 May 2014

The only thing better than a good B-Movie is a bad B-Movie that's so lovingly crafted that it earns more of your devotion than the average blockbuster - films like The Howling, Piranha and Explorers.

These cinematic marvels were created by Roger Corman and Joe Dante - names that will either mean nothing to you, or that cause you to kneel before them as the rightful kings of cult.

Hero Complex Gallery very much fall into the latter grouping, as they've conspired with Trailers From Hell to put on an exhibit in tribute to Corman and Dante's considerable body of work. Opening on 23 May at The New Beverly Cinema with a double feature screening of Joe Dante’s Matinee and Roger Corman’s The Masque of the Red Death, the exhibition will run at LA's Hero Complex Gallery until 8 June.

If you can't make the trip, here are some of our favourite pieces from the exhibition. Be sure to keep an eye on the Hero Complex Gallery site for news of when the prints will go on sale.
