Science class glassware and Steampunk motifs are not something you’d usually associate with a steaming hot cup of your favourite brown liquid.
- These are the best coffee machines to make a barista-style brew
Well, you may need a stiff latte after this news as Korean designers Dutch Labs have gone and blown our misconception out of the coffee pot...
Gothicism is a towering behemoth of a drinks maker, turning an early morning cup of Joe into a work of art. The machine’s metallic curves stand at a 120 degree angle, secured atop a triangular base, with ground coffee placed under a water dripper, eventually turning the glass flask at the bottom into a holy grail of body petrol.
Dutch Labs don't stop at Steampunk, either, offering a variety of coffee machine themes including King Kong and Big Ben, which is arguably bigger than the landmark itself.
But if you’re in the mood for a cup of the good stuff be prepared to shell out an eye watering £4,200. Then again, you could always save your money and have Starbucks for life.
