Goodies are never as interesting as baddies. Skywalker, Batman, Clarice - all boring as hell compared to Vader, The Joker, Hannibal Lecter. And if they had Twitter accounts they'd be well worth a follow.

Footballing bad guy Robbie Savage (who's teamed up with Pepsi Max to launch Transform Your Patch) is a tweeting legend and we sat down with the man we loved to hate, to find out who he follows himself...

Chris Moyles

@CHRISDJMOYLES

“I’ve always been a big fan of BBC Radio One presenter Chris Moyles, and I think he’s great on Twitter. I like the banter he has going on with his fans and celebrities too. We've had a bit of banter between ourselves which was really good. It's quite funny because I’ll be in the car listening to him, and then I'll tweet in on my phone, and he always reads it out live on air. You’ve got to love that.”

Piers Morgan

@piersmorgan

“I got involved in Twitter about 18 months ago - it was just something that my agent said I should have a try at. I knew nothing about it but he said I was perfect for it really. Opinionated I guess. So I gave it a go and found it really addictive - I've got nearly 700,000 follows now, I don’t know how. I just like all the banter with people, and Piers Morgan is someone that I’ve enjoyed some great banter with. He gives it back.”

Lord Sugar

@Lord_Sugar

“I couldn't be myself on Twitter recently because of Strictly Come Dancing. When I was on that it took up so much time I kind of reigned it all back. Now that’s done I'm back to being my normal self a bit more, I’ve started having a go at people, causing debate. A good example of what I like was the good bit of banter between Piers Morgan (see above tweet) and Lord Sugar, which me and Rio joined in on. That was good fun and caused a bit of debate you know.”

Joey Barton

@Joey7Barton

“I do like Joey Barton’s tweets because you never know what he is going to say next. It could be a quote from someone really interesting or it could be him having a bash at somebody. He's a good man to follow, but I do think players like Joey have got to be careful what they tweet you know. The thing is everyone can see it, even if you’re not on Twitter - you can get game bans or FA fines now if you say the wrong thing. You've got to be so careful if you’re still playing.”

Rio Ferdinand

@rioferdy5

“We just hammer each other on Twitter all the time. It's good to give people a bit of grief, banter like, like I do with Rio. What I don't like it when people cross the line. I think something has got to be done with all the people who just feel they're free to say exactly what they want to who they want. I've had a few tweets recently where people have been saying, "I'm looking forward to the day Robbie is lowered into the ground," "I hope you die," that kind of thing, horrible.”

Robbie Savage has teamed up with Pepsi Max to launch ‘Transform Your Patch’ – a campaign which aims to regenerate around 165 outdoor spaces across the UK with the help of the public. To vote for Robbie Savage and 5 a side football pitches visit www.transformyourpatch.com
