Paperback clutter is now a thing of the past

Storage: surely no other ostensibly innocent sounding word strikes as much fear into the heart of modern man. What to do with all those books, expensive toys, magazines, DVDs, CDs and other accoutrements that one cultivates and accumulates down the years?

Unless you streamline, go fully digital and chuck out a lifetime’s possessions (and try as we might we just can’t bring ourselves to take that leap), man can never have enough storage.

Unfortunately, so much storage fails to meet our exacting standards and expectations. We long for systems that follow both form and function. That’s why we’ve gone rather giddy at this wall system conceived by award-winning Dutch designers Studio Parade.

Entitled Paperback, it’s a modular operation that not only looks aesthetically alluring, it also offers instinctive and handy ease of use. In fact, due to its simple, but rather barren design (a good thing by the way), it enables all of us to become artists in our own front room, as you can mess about with colour schemes and design templates to your heart's content.

The system itself consists of one wall panel into which laminate shelves can slide in. Recently launched, the Paperback currently comes in two sizes (120x60cm and 60x60cm) and one colour, white, which of course assists in those all-important colour considerations.
