Japan. Proud owners of the world's third largest economy, lowest murder rate and most confusing of advertising cultures.
No doubt you've stumbled across one of Japan's many oddities on your travels around the internet - but allow us to draw your attention to the latest gem to have emerged from the depths of this most warped of creative groups.
Wonder Core is a brand of home exercise equipment - an altogether standard sit up machine that sees its users perform crunches with appropriate back support. So far so normal. Not content with selling their product in the standard fashion ("Look at my amazing abs! Thanks, Wonder Core!" etc.), they've compiled a series of utterly bizarre scenarios in which a man falls over, only to recover thanks to his solid abs and Wonder Core machine.
Still at a loss? We don't blame you. Check out the series of adverts below. If you strike upon any meaning we've missed, do let us know.
