World's Smallest Arcade Machine

World's Smallest Arcade Machine

10 Jan 2013

While playing games on your smartphone may help you pass the time on your morning commute, it doesn't give you that same satisfying thrill as playing it on a actual arcade machine. Sadly, hauling a heavy piece of equipment with you on the tube doesn't seem practical.

Thankfully, the world's smallest arcade machine has been announced in the new the Guinness World Records 2013 Gamers Edition.

The fully playable machine offers Tetris, Space Invaders and Breakout clones and stands at just 124 x 52 x 60mm (4.88 x 2.05 x 2.35in), which is smaller than an iPhone.

The tiny piece of equipment was designed and built by computer engineer Mark Slevinsky of Alberta, Canada, who said: "My wife and I are expecting our first child any day now - he'll be the right size to play!"
