World's smallest caravan

Loneliest holiday ever

World's smallest caravan

If we all dig back into our store of repressed memories, we can probably remember at least one holiday which was endured in a caravan. The claustrophobia, the enforced friendships with other neighbouring kids, the smell...

It's therefore with great trepidation that we speak of a new development in the caravanning world.

The smallest caravan ever brings up mixed feelings. When we spent that summer in Bognor Regis, we wished for total solitude and a bigger vehicle and while the QTvan might only tick one of those boxes, it's still a rather nifty invention.

It measures 2m by 75cm yet has managed to squeeze in a full-sized bed, a 19 inch television, a drinks cabinet and tea-making facilities.

It's worth around £5,500 yet has only been developed by the Environmental Transport Agency to highlight the amount of people who use a mobility scoooter yet don't have breakdown cover.

As you can see from the pictures above, it can be easily utilised in the supermarket. Quite why though, we haven't yet worked out.
