Zombie theme park planned for Detroit

While the threat of a zombie apocalypse is terrifying for sure, it's also shamefully a bit exciting as well.

Okay so most of our loved ones would probably be transformed into flesh-eating monsters but the tragedy would soon turn into an adrenaline-pumping adventure. With an excess of guts.

Realising our not-so-secret wish to be involved in a real-life undead emergency, entrepreneur Mark Siwak is hoping to turn a derelict Detroit neighbourhood into a zombie theme park.

'Z World Detroit' would be an experience based around abandoned warehouses and homes where you and your teammates must avoid becoming zombie food. Reassuringly, no weapons would be allowed and instead you'd wear a special tear-away patch. Once the patch is gone, your game would be over. The same would be true for the zombies.

He's aiming to raise $145,000 and so far he has, ermmm, $3,123 but there are 38 days left so be generous, alright? Pledge here.
