The Post-it wars

Death by paper cut?

The humble paper cut is nothing to smirk at, oh no. It may seem like a tiny incision but it’s capable of inflicting immense amounts of pain on the injured party. Consider, if you will, a paper cut to the eyeball, for example. Repulsive, huh?

But, nightmares of numerous optical incisions wouldn’t stop us from taking part in this almighty Post-it war, which is currently being waged between two offices in Paris.

Employees from French companies Ubisoft and BNP have been spending their time creating retro 8-bit characters from computer games, using an assortment of the coloured sticky-backed notes. They then plaster the recognisable creatures over the facing windows to out-do their opponents. Passers-by have seen the likes of Space Invaders, Pac-Man, SuperMario and Donkey Kong looking down at them from the windows above.

Right, how many do we need to make King Koopa?
