When the term 'musical legends' is bandied about, it's fair to say that most people don't immediately think of Chas & Dave.

However, no-one deserves the accolade more than Chas Hodges and Dave Peacock; alongside their huge body of work under their own name and their fearsome live reputation - including opening for Led Zeppelin at Knebworth in 1979 - they also have an incredible pedigree as session musicians. Chas played with Jerry Lee Lewis and Gene Vincent early in his career, and they both played with Labi Siffre on his hit I Got The - which was sampled on Eminem's breakthrough hit My Name Is. The endorsement of many modern musicians, together with a BBC documentary on their career, Last Orders, which was broadcast when the duo thought that their time together may be ending, made many people realise just how good an act they are.

Following this, they recently announced that they would be releasing their first album of original material in 27 years this October, marking their 50th year together.

The album was produced by Grammy-winning bluesman Joe Henry, with guests including Buddy Holly's drummer J. I Allison, Jools Holland and actor-musician Hugh Laurie.

We've got a beautifully-shot, exclusive clip of the guys at work in Abbey Road, so we'll stop Rabbiting on and let you watch it.
