In recent years, the mystical world of food flavours has become a whole lot more befuddling.
What with Schweddy Balls ice cream, tuna mayonnaise Doritos, and wasabi Kit Kats, the limits of taste don't seem to have made much of an impression.
But, over in Tennessee, a new low-point has officially been reached. Unhinged parents have been buying and selling chicken pox lollipops over Facebook to share the infection or to ensure their kid gets it fast. U.S. Attorney Jerry Martin has been forced to remind people that sending diseases or viruses over state lines is, unsurprisingly, a crime and can be punished with a sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
It all started in a Facebook group called "Find a Pox Party in Your Area", where one posting bragged that there was a "fresh batch of pox in Nashville shipping of suckers, spit and Q-tips available tomorrow 50 dollars via PayPal."
That thing you just felt, it's your faith in humanity dying just a little bit more.
