Everybody stop, we have a new contender for 'world's craziest burger'.
The guys over at Umami Burger, a famed LA establishment, have broken all the rules with the new Monte Cristo burger. Some of which, perhaps, shouldn't have been broken.
Get ready for this. It starts with a beef patty, topped with busseto prosciutto and gruyere fondue. It's then housed in a vanilla custard-soaked deep-fried bun, dusted with powdered sugar and served with a side of maple syrup.
It's the creation of Michael Voltaggio, who has won reality show Top Chef in the states.
It's available from today, if you happen to be in LA.
