If the response to our recent article is anything to go by, then it's abundantly clear: the public want Partridge in at Top Gear.
As the signature count to the petition to replace the controversy-addled Jeremy Clarkson with Alan nears 30,000, then the BBC must be feeling the intense public pressure to bring in the North Norfolk Digital hero.
However, they are professionals: they're not going to employ someone purely on the say-so of a baying mob of fans. They need cold, hard evidence that the man is up to the job of fronting one of the planet's most popular motoring shows.
Luckily, composer and Youtuber Philip O'Meara has provided just that, by creating the ideal showreel for Partridge to submit. On the evidence of the extreme knowledge and presenting flair demonstrated, he should be a shoe-in to team up with James May and Richard Hammond imminently.
Just to be clear, though, he's not driving a Mini Metro.
