In an ideal world we would all be going flapping crazy for Baz Luhrmann’s extraordinary retelling of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s quintessential American novel this Christmas.
But as any disappointed young kid come the morning of December 25 will tell you, we do not live in an ideal world and the release date was moved back to May 17 2013. However, that does allow Warner Bros to tickle our fancy by issuing another trailer.
Darker in tone than the original teaser, this trailer cranks up the troubled existence of Leonardo DiCaprio’s enigmatic Jay Gatsby an extra couple of notches.
