Mosaic artist Jason Mecier is known for fashioning uncanny portraits of famous people from junk.
Now he has made a tasty addition to his collection with a portrait of Kevin Bacon - made from 15lbs of bacon.
Jason, from San Francisco, has previously made Barack Obama from beef jerky and Harry Potter from jelly straws but has now completed the Footloose star. He explains: "I drew out Kevin's face first before filling in the details with different shades of bacon. I used burnt bacon for the shading and uncooked fatty bits for the light tones on his face.
"It took a full day and into the night. I thought I had too much bacon when I bought a 10lb bag, but I realised Kevin's head would need much more."
