Luis Suarez Risks Further Ire In Adidas ‘Haters’ Ad

Almost all highly paid footballers have to put up with their fair share of trolls.

 

And although this admittedly bonkers advert turns the tables, allowing some of the biggest players to silence their critics by showing off about how rich and famous they are, we didn’t expect Luis Suarez to play such a prominent role.

 

 

As the ad takes a frantic, near epilepsy-inducing turn, Suarez takes up a series of dubious poses before being joined by Karim Benzema, who clearly fancies himself a rapper/ game show contestant, as well as self-proclaimed poster boy James Rodriguez, as the pair go about boasting about how they earn enough to buy a solid gold fighter jet. We didn't even know they existed. 

 

Though there is one odd man out. Being the sort of boy you know your gran would like and whose wildest night in Madrid probably involves playing FIFA until midnight and drinking orange from the carton, Gareth Bale's inclusion probably helps his publicity if anything.
