Game Of Thrones Pop-Up Restaurant Coming To London
Game Of Thrones Pop-Up Restaurant Coming To London
The pop-ups are coming.
What with the arrival of the first trailer for season five and the fourth season headed to DVD and Blu-ray on 16 February, Game of Thrones excitement is beginning to creep up on us like an unstoppable white walker.
To stoke the fan fires further still, HBO is giving a small number of diners the chance to experience a Westeros-styled banquet at a pop-up restaurant titled All Men Must Dine.
Three days of Game of Thrones-themed feasting will take place at the restaurant, held at London's Andaz Liverpool Street hotel, with the banquet provided by The Wandering Chef. Each evening will see guests treated to entertainment, food and drink themed around a private, clandestine meeting of the Iron Throne's Small Council in King’s Landing.
While the full menu is yet to be announced, examples of dishes on offer include "The Lies of Tyrion Lanninster and his Proclaimed Innocence" - a plate of poached veal tongue with beetroot, horseradish and Oldtown mustard.
Held between 13 and 15 February, for a chance to win two seats to the All Men Must Die banquet, you can fill in a competition form here.
Should you be fortunate enough to attend, we advise you to insist on the host serving bread and salt, and to make a swift exit should anyone start playing The Rains of Castamere.
