The latest Stephen King TV adaptation 11/22/63 continues to take shape, with the announcement that Sarah Gadon has been added to the cast.
Hulu, who are making the nine-part original series, based on the 2011 Stephen King book of the same name, revealed that the actress, who has previously starred in Maps To The Stars and Cosmopolis opposite Robert Pattinson, will be the leading lady in the project.
She'll appear as the character Sadie Dunhill, opposite James Franco, who will play high school English teacher Jake Epping. The plot sees Epping travel back in time to prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy before discovering that this has unintended consequences.
It's previously been described as "part thriller, part love story" and is being made as nine hour-long episodes by J.J. Abrams Bad Robot production company alongside Warner Bros TV. King himself will be executive producer alongside Abrams, Bridget Carpenter and Bryan Burk. James Franco will also be serving as producer, with the series expected to land for summer 2016.
