Without cars, cinema would be a much more boring place.
Just think about it for a second: Bullit taking the bus, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker forced to race BMX's, and the plot of Gone In 60 seconds referring to competitive eating championships – nobody wants that.
Well now some of Hollywood’s most memorable rides have been collated for one humdinger of an infographic. Created by Jennings Motor Group, it combines minimalist pictures of iconic automobiles with fact nuggets about the films they burnt rubber in.
American Graffiti’s yellow beauty tops the list, followed by the likes of Burt Reynold’s Trans-AM number from Smokey and the Bandit and more recent inclusions such as the F1 car recently seen throttled around vintage tracks in Senna. It's a lovely little list.
