A haunting literary character map of London

London’s literary history is as rich as it is varied.

When the great writers of our time didn't call it home, their most famous characters did. No more so than the haunting ones - the mysterious ones - doubtlessly caught up in the fog-swept ambience of St Paul’s and beyond.

So with Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy getting all gothic for Victor Frankenstein (out in cinemas now), here’s a map of London with a difference, running the gamut of this fair city to show the areas most associated with the likes of Dorian Gray and Dr Jekyll.

And before you go saying Peter Pan and Oliver Twist aren't 'haunting', they're both dead now, so they sort of are.
