A Man Has Been Fitted With A Working 8inch Bionic Penis
Mohammed Abad from Edinburgh lost his penis when he was just six years old following a horrific car accident.
The incident saw him dragged some 600ft by a car, suffering injuries to his genitals and thighs as he was scraped across the tarmac – resulting in the loss of his penis, and subsequently leaving him unable to have sex as an adult.
Until now that is. Super doctors at the University College London have managed to create, and fit a bionic penis using a skin graft from his arm, alongside some other technical wizardry.
The 8inch member is powered by special tubes that inflate when he presses a button on his testicle.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper Abad said: ”When you want a bit of action you press the ‘on’ button. When you are finished you press another button. It takes seconds. Doctors have told me to keep practising.”
Adding: “Some ladies might want to try it out.”
Previously Abad appeared on Channel 4's Embarrassing Bodies in 2013.
Abad's bionic member is one of several new methods doctors have devised to restore damaged penises: back in March, a team of South African surgeons carried out the first successful penis transplant on a 21-year-old who had lost his own after a circumcision went wrong. It's enough to bring a tear to your eye.
