Comic books are complicated.

Not the comics themselves - we've never had problem navigating the pictures and text bubbles. It's the convoluted relationships, the parallel story lines and odd spin-off narratives that leave us in a muddle, made all the more complicated when a big-shot director changes everything for the sake of the next movie instalment.
