Adele goes undercover to enter Adele impersonation contest
Will the real Adele Adkins please stand up?
It's fair to say that Adele's new record has shifted a copy of two. You might even know someone who likes her - she's apparently quite popular.
As 25, the long-awaited third album by the London singer-songwriter, went to number one in an astonishing 106 countries, she took part in an hour-long BBC special on Friday night with Graham Norton.
Donning prosthetics, makeup and gloves, she went undercover to enter an Adele impersonation contest. Adopting a slower, posher voice, she chatted away to her fellow contestants before taking to the stage, even moaning along with them about how long it was taking her to record the new album.
It took a while for the penny to drop before her fellow 'Adeles' realised who exactly was in their midst, but they got there in the end, as she sang her classic Bob Dylan cover Make Me Feel Your Love.
