Afrojack's Ultimate Playlist

Afrojack is undoubtedly one of the world's leading DJs and producers - coming in at a highly-respectable No.7 on the annual DJ magazine poll - and, judging by his Twitter account, he's also a thoroughly nice bloke.

As well as wowing crowds the world over, he's unleashed a host of his own massive tunes, as well as contributing to others', including one of the best pop songs in recent years - the mighty Give Me Everything Tonight.

He's currently riding high in the charts with The Spark ahead of his debut full-length, due in 2014. We caught up with him to find out his Ultimate Playlist and discovered a surprising love for The Police, Snoop Dogg and Whitney Houston...

Favourite Movie Soundtrack Song

Hans Zimmer – Time. I LOVE IT! If he ever goes into the EDM scene, I want to hear about it. He will be on top forever. Great music and an incredible composer.

Favourite club anthem

Quintino & Sandro Silva – Epic. This is a HUGE track! From the moment it came out it was crazy and people went mad for it. It's still an amazing anthem in my opinion. Every time I put this record on, the venue explodes.

Favourite Song From Your Childhood

Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg & Nate Dogg – The Next Episode. This is such a classic track from my childhood. I still listen to it all the time. It has awesome beats you can really get into.

Favourite song that no-one else has heard of

That one is on my album and I'm afraid you will have to wait for it! :-)

Martin Garrix – Animals. This guy is blowing up the charts everywhere in the world. It's a crazy track and he is such a nice guy!

Favourite song to hear at a wedding

The Police – Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic. The Police are just awesome, they have a lot of great songs and this one really stands out to me. A must for a wedding.

Favourite one-hit wonder

Stardust – Music Sounds Better With You. Great beat and still a great song. It's too bad but this is the only track of theirs I've really heard of.

Favourite lyric from a song

Bangduck! I use it for almost every intro and the reason is just because I really love the track.
