It's one of the greatest football stadiums the world has ever known, and now it could be your home for the night.
Airbnb is offering fans the chance to stay at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio De Janeiro, for free.
The stunt is the latest in their Night At series, which has previously offered overnight stays at the Sepang Formula 1 circuit in Malaysia, the Chicago Bulls' home stadium of United Centre, and in a cable car 9,000ft above Courchevel in the French Alps.
Despite the stadium's 78,000-seat capacity, only a limited number of bedrooms are available. If you want access to one of the rooms, you'll need to convince Airbnb with a compelling reason as part of your application. Remember: genuinely compelling reasons only. This is one instance where simulation won't guarantee you a booking.
Successful applicants will be given a stadium tour by Brazil legend Gaúcho, and invited to practise their penalty-taking on the pitch. They'll then be shown to their custom VIP suites, situated level with the halfway line, which are fitted out with beds, baths and fussball tables.
The following day, guests can enjoy a Rio derby between Flamengo vs. Fluminense - aka the "Fla-Flu" - which commanded a world-record crowd of 194,000 at the Maracanã back in 1963.
Of course, if the game isn't up to much, you can always call it a night. For once, there'll be no shame in heading for an early bath...
