There's nothing better than enjoying a classic album in silence, away from the stresses and strains of the outside world. But this may be taking it a little too far.
The Scandanavian Creative Lab ST has teamed up with Pjadad, an experimental studio, to create the AudioOrbs - a giant spherical space that you can climb inside and listen to music in. The orbs house 18 speakers, together with Tempur pillows that adjust to the shape of your body, creating a floating sensation while you enjoy your tunes.
To buy one, you'll need $15,000 (£9,115) - but these are pretty limited edition: only two units will ever be built.
If you fancy investing in your own sound-egg, just visit their indiegogo page and buy one.
If you're worried about their capability to produce such an item, then fear not: ST have previously built the Wall of Sound and the Wall of Sound 2.0 - the world's biggest iPhone speaker (pictured below) and they state that they have 10 new products in development - including a flying carpet. A sit-in speaker should be pretty easy to get right compared to that one.
