Remember this moment, because we'll look back on it as the exact time that the human race began its descent into oblivion.
Amazon has announced plans to roll out its 'within the hour' delivery service on a range of household items - and that includes alcohol.
“Residents of Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond and Kirkland can now get one-hour delivery on tens of thousands of items like paper towels, wine, beer, chilled and frozen items like milk and ice cream, televisions and Kindle devices,” said an Amazon press release.
We always find that when we buy a new TV, we definitely need it within the hour. After all, we wouldn't want to miss a second of The Kardashians would we?
The service, which is called 'Prime Now' is being rolled out in the areas above, but could soon be extended worldwide if it proves successful; an Amazon spokesperson said: “Like with any product offering, we will evaluate customer response and if customers love the convenience of having alcohol delivered in under an hour right to their doors then we’ll look to expand the offering”.
Booze? Available within the hour? All the time? Amazon: for when you're too lazy to even bother going to your local pub.
