Eight seasons of American Horror Story - that’s a lot of blood, a lot of killing, a lot of people growling into the camera. But so far we’ve only had access to seven seasons of blood/killing/growling, so when are we able to suck up the latest chunk of it?
Well, it seems we will on September 12. Providing you live in America, that is - a UK date has yet to be released, although it’ll most likely be very soon after.

The eighth season, which we know will be called American Horror Story: Radioactive has its story kept tightly under-wraps, but a cryptic Insta post by Ryan Murphy may hint that it’ll centre around either lust or violence (both exciting things for a TV show to be centred around):
He also teased further regarding the theme at the Television Critics Association press tour:
I pitched it to [FX boss] John Landgraf today right after his TCA panel, and he loved it, but he’s asked me not to say what it is.
“I told him and he fell out of his chair with joy. I think people will like it, it’s different from what we’ve done before, but I always try and do the opposite of what I’ve done on that show.”
“All I’ll say about it is I want to go to the future – still topical, but the future, which I’ve never done.”
And he mentioned at an Emmys panel:
“It’s not necessarily as real and grounded as the past season. We’re sort of getting back to Asylum and Coven. It’s that tone. That’s the tone of it.”
But that’s not it, oh no! It’s also set to be a Coven/Murder House crossover, which you can read all about here:
HOW VERY EXCITING, yet also VERY MYSTERIOUS.
More as we hear it.
