So The Dark Knight Rises is finally out and while we all have our own mixed opinions, we're all pretty much agreed that Anne Hathaway's Catwoman was a surprising success.
We might have been initially unsure about the casting but the rom-com stalwart gave a tough, sexy performance as Selina Kyle and it's no shock that she's keen to revisit the character.
Although Christopher Nolan has stated that it will be his last outing, it's massively likely that Warner Bros will want to make some more money from the hit franchise.
In an interview with Digital Spy, Hathaway hinted that she would be up for her own two hours of feline action.
"I think it would be lovely to see more of her but only if it's with the right people," Hathaway revealed. "She lives in this Gotham City and so it would have to be established by the people who have made this Gotham City. For me, at least."
Nolan himself also fuelled the fire last week by suggesting Hathaway was so good that she deserved an entire movie to explore the character more.
Only time will tell but after scoring the biggest ever 2D opening weekend in the US with a mammoth $161.8 million, a spin-off will surely be high on Warner's to-do list.
