Rocket science is pretty complicated.
As are the laws of thermodynamics, aerospace engineering, telemetry programming... it's stuff that only smart people who spent the better part of their twenties trapped in a lab understand.
Which is why we're eternally grateful for Minute Physics and the cartoonists of XKCD for creating the aptly titled, How To Go To Space - a guide to space travel that only uses the 1,000 most commonly used words in the English language.
No mention of thrust. Nothing about velocity. Just normal, proper words.
We'll be filing an application with NASA by the end of the day.
