Unlike James Cameron’s Avatar, Martin Scorsese’s latest epic The Wolf of Wall Street isn’t the sort of film that needs a heavy dollop of CGI.
Or so you would think. In reality, however, there was lots of post-production Photoshop work going on behind-the-scenes, highlighted by this newly released video from New York VFX Team Brainstorm-Digital.
Treating us to an insider’s peek, the footage peels away the most high-concept scenes right down to their most primitive (that lion walking through the office? Real, surprisingly - the crowds were added later), along with the downright trivial, like changing the front of a London townhouse, for example.
Impressive, right? Just a shame an actual wolf proved too much of a stretch for the whizzes.
