Yes, the first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron is here. But it shouldn't be.
The 146 seconds of Hulk-busting, world-defending action was supposed to remain under wraps until next week - earmarked to delight the fans of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD (which is maturing into a solid superhero TV romp) and bring in extra eager viewers. But late last night, a low-resolution version of the début trailer turned up on YouTube, whipping up a frenzy amongst the legions of fans (us included).
Thankfully, Marvel has a sense of humour, tweeting this initial response:
Hydra - for those unfamiliar with the Marvel universe - being world-wide subversive organization dedicated to global domination. And trailer leaks.
Marvel and Disney responded by releasing the trailer in all its HD glory, which you can watch below. Here's hoping they still manage to sneak something extra into next week's Agents of SHIELD.
Avengers: Age of Ultron lands in cinemas on 24 April. Unless Hydra leaks it first
