But Barcelona refused to give up, overturning a 4-0 first leg deficit, and the concession of an away goal against Paris St Germain to win 6-1 and go through to the Champions League quarter-finals, with the final three goals scored from the 88^th minute onwards and the decisive sixth coming in the 95^th from Sergi Roberto as PSG crumbled.

It’s already been acclaimed as the greatest comeback of all time – well, these guys would probably have something to say about that – but it was a game that will live long in the memory for all who saw it.

Barcelona? Well, they were ecstatic:
