Watch Benedict Cumberbatch sing Comfortably Numb with Pink Floyd's David Gilmour
We think he should stick to acting
Benedict Cumberbatch is obviously a very talented man; there's no doubt that he's one of the finest actors of this generation with his Shakespearean performances and becoming the world's most loved Sherlock Holmes.
But as ol' Cucumberpatch took to the stage last night at London's Royal Albert Hall to sing with David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, it was evident that he should stick to acting...
Benedict, who will be joining the Marvel universe soon in Doctor Strange, joined David Gilmour and his band to sing 1979 Pink Floyd classic Comfortably Numb from their seminal The Wall album, originally sang by Roger Waters.
Don't get us wrong, we'd love to watch Benedict pissed up in a karaoke booth blasting out show tunes as much as the next person, but with past guest vocalists such as David Bowie standing in to sing Roger Waters part, it doesn't exactly sound 'elementary'.
