Its launch has been so prolific, it's been easier to count the review groups who haven't given GTA V 10/10. Rockstar Games managed to make a staggering $800 million in first-day sales (before the game even hit the shelves of Japan and Brazil). It's the most expensive game ever made, and set to be the most successful console game ever made.

While it's still early days, GTA V is on track to make more than The Sims, Modern Warfare 2 and Gran Turismo 3 within a week of launch - having been created on a budget that makes all Hollywood blockbusters bar the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 turn green with envy.
