Black Mirror Season 3 is coming very soon
The show that basically predicted everything is coming back
Perhaps fearful that if they waited any longer, then real life would come along and steal their ideas, it's been announced that the new series of Black Mirror will be released via Netflix on 21 October.
They'll come just over a year after it was announced that the programme would be transferring to the streaming giant, after beginning its life on Channel 4, where it has run for seven episodes since 2011 - all of these are already available to watch on Netflix.
There will be six new episodes of the critically-acclaimed dystopian series - and the main casts and titles of each episode have been revealed:
1. San Junipero, starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mackenzie Davis, directed by Owen Harris
2. Shut Up and Dance, starring Jerome Flynn and Alex Lawther, directed by James Watkins
3. Nosedive, starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Alice Eve, and James Norton, directed by Joe Wright
4. Men Against Fire, starring Michael Kelly, Malachi Kirby, and Madeline Brewer, directed by Jakob Verbruggen
5. “Hated in the Nation,” starring Kelly MacDonald, directed by James Hawes
6. “Playtest,” starring Wyatt Russell and Hannah John-Kamen, directed by Dan Trachtenberg
The show has displayed a unerring knack of predicting the future, with episode 1 of the first series, The National Anthem, featuring a Prime Minister forced to commit a sexual act with a pig. Meanwhile, The Entire History of You saw a world where everything you do is recorded - Google Glass soon followed. The Waldo Moment, episode 3 of the second series, featured an animated racist cartoon getting elected instead of a real politician. Apropos of nothing:
Maybe the new series could have nice things happening in it? Just a thought.
