Remember when the very first episode of Black Mirror featured the Prime Minister having sex with a pig and people chalked it off as twisted laughable fantasy?
Charlie Brooker’s twisted sci-fi series is coming back to Netflix with six more twisted tales to leave us pondering how much we’re glued to the “black mirror” that is our smartphones, computers and televisions.
In a new teaser trailer released by the streaming service, we gained episode titles and a few location shots of what we can expect in Black Mirror season 4.
‘Crocodile’
Cast: Andrea Riseborough (Birdman, Bloodline), Andrew Gower (Outlander), Kiran Sonia Sawar (Murdered By My Father)
Director: John Hillcoat (Triple Nine, Lawless)

Looking like a Scandi-murder mystery, first episode ‘Crocodile’ will no doubt feature a lot of people brooding in some cold conditions.
‘Arkangel’
Cast: Rosemarie Dewitt (La La Land, Mad Men), Brenna Harding (A Place to Call Home), Owen Teague (Bloodline)
Director: Jodie Foster
Written by: Charlie Brooker
‘Arkangel’ was the next episode teased by the trailer, and by the looks of it it’ll be another menacing Black Mirror domestic drama in the style of The Entire History of You and Be Right Back.
‘Hang the DJ’
Cast: Georgina Campbell (Flowers, Broadchurch), Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders, Green Room), George Blagden (Versailles, Vikings)
Director: Tim Van Patten (The Sopranos, Game of Thrones)

Romantic misadventure is another Black Mirror favourite, so it’ll be interesting to see how Charlie Brooker and Tim Van Patten balances a stellar cast of up and coming actors.
‘USS Callister’
Cast: Jesse Plemons (Black Mass, Fargo), Cristin Milioti (The Wolf of Wall Street, Fargo), Jimmi Simpson (Westworld, House of Cards), Michaela Coel (Chewing Gum, Monsters: Dark Continent)
Director: Toby Haynes (Dr Who, Sherlock)
Written By: Charlie Brooker & William Bridges
It looks like Star Trek, is directed by a Doctor Who bod and boasts Landry out of Friday Night Lights and Michaela Coel. Call us curious.
‘Metalhead’
Cast: Maxine Peake (The Theory Of Everything, The Village), Jake Davies (The Missing, A Brilliant Young Mind), Clint Dyer (Hope Springs)
Director: David Slade (Hannibal, American Gods)
Written By: Charlie Brooker
There’s a robot in ‘Metalhead’ that looks like the ED-209 machine out of Robocop. That’s all you need to know.
‘Black Museum’
Cast: Douglas Hodge (The Night Manager, Catastrophe), Letitia Wright (Humans, Ready Player One), Babs Olusanmokun (Roots, The Defenders)
Director: Colm McCarthy
Written By: Charlie Brooker
Very little to discern here, but maybe this final episode will explain how all the Black Mirror episodes are connected.
The trailer poses the new series will be ‘coming soon’, We can’t wait.
