The evolution of cities is never uninteresting; as centres of hustles and bustle, there is always something being repaired, replaced, upgraded or redesigned.
This fantastic photo series, created by the team at Golem 13, explores the changes within the city of Paris over the last hundred years. A series of photographs taken in the last month (aided by a little bit of Google Street View) have been blended with old photos and postcards of Paris, which range from the late 1800s to the early 1900s, putting the two eras side-by-side to see how much has changed, and what has resolutely stayed the same.
