Buffalo Bill's House Is Up For Sale

Buffalo Bill's House Is Up For Sale

Buffalo Bill's House Is Up For Sale
21 August 2015

Well, it would certainly be a nice pad to have a friend for dinner, wouldn't it?

A property purchase not for the faint-hearted, the house used in the 1991 horror classic Silence of the Lambs as Jame 'Buffalo Bill' Gumb's home is up for sale.

Its asking price is $300,000, which is just £190,970 in the Queen's currency so, given the choice between this and a shoebox in London, we think we know what the sensible choice would be.

Tragically - or, perhaps, luckily, if you actually ever want to get to sleep - Bill's murderous basement is not part of the property; that was created separately on a sound stage. But otherwise it's a 1.76 acre, 4 bedroom family home, built in 1910 and located in Perry Township Fay, Pennsylvania. The listing states that there are, "plentiful outdoor activities from the in-ground pool, oversized shop/garage, or nearby fishing, hiking and even boating".

Which is all very well, but really you're going to sitting at home making suits of other people's skin. Or something.

Take a look at the full listing here, take a look at some photos below and give us an invite round when you're settled in. Actually, thinking about it, don't worry about it, we're fine.
