It’s not very often you see a yurt in the centre of London, but just over a week ago, a special one popped up in Paradise Park, ready to host the second chapter of innocent inspires, the series of unique evenings tailor-made by innocent drinks.
innocent had invited a stellar line-up of speakers who all do interesting things every day to help people live a little more ethically. Under the canvas, they shared their stories and helped inspire people to leave the world a little better than they found it.
Laura Bailey, the model and writer who knows more than most about how to lead a stylish but also sustainable life talked about what you can do in today’s fast-paced modern society to tread lightly on the earth. She was joined by Arthur Potts Dawson, ethical eating trailblazer and star of Channel 4 show The People’s Supermarket, who got the audience excited about urban sustainability, sharing delicious fresh fruit and veg that had been grown just down the road: not what you’d expect to be cultivated in the streets of London.
Also inspiring the audience with their tips and suggestions on ethical living were luxury fashion designer Henrietta Ludgate, talking about the importance of doing business in an ethical way, the Good for Nothing crew on how creative collaboration can be a force for social good and Richard Reynolds, the Guerrilla Gardener, who made everyone get their hands dirty to create seed bombs to plant around London.
