Character mash-ups
02 June 2011

Actors will often complain that their most famous role has left them typecast for the rest of their career. They'll hear people on the street call out their iconic line or get referred to by their character name in awkward social situations.

So here to remind us all that actors are known for more than one performance is the rather enviously talented Mr Whaite (that's his name, we're not being overly formal), who has created a number of mash-up portraits.

The pictures show various thespians using props and wearing items that refer to memorable characters that they've played. If you're really clever and that, you can try to guess which pieces come from which movies. Or if you're simply too tired to play smart, then the answers are underneath each image.
