Marvel have finally announced who their new Daredevil will be - and it's Brit actor Charlie Cox.
Cox has previously starred in 2007's Stardust and the hit US TV series Boardwalk Empire but his new role is arguably his most high profile to date, taking on the lead role in the 13-episode TV series which is coming to Netflix in the near future. He follows in the footsteps of Ben Affleck, who played the character in the poorly-received 2003 movie of the same name.
The Daredevil series will be the first of the new TV Marvel shows, with Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage to follow, before they are rounded up, Avengers-style, to form The Defenders.
Marvel also revealed the official description for the series: "Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City."
There's no premiere date as yet, but it's expected to land in 2015.
