In space, no one can hear you scream about a lack of video games faithful to 1979's Alien.
British video game studio Creative Assembly hope to have created just that, unveiling their survival horror title Alien: Isolation.
Taking its cues directly from Ridley Scott's classic, players take the role of Amanda Ripley, daughter of iconic heroine Ellen. Set 15 years after the events of Alien, Ellen searches for records of her mother and the commercial towing vessel Nostromo aboard a large deserted trading station - but what's the clunking about in the air vents?
As the trailer hints, there are no marines to save you, no machine guns cling to, just you and a lethal enemy from the depths of space. To find out more about the game, you can watch the chaps from Creative Assembly get excited about their project in a neat video documentary.
Alien: Isolation is due for release in late 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC
