It’s oft repeated that in our MP3-dominated music world, album artwork has gone the way of Chelsea’s title hopes.
If so, reimagining classic album covers of yesteryear in a playful clipart manner might be the way forward. Which would be very good news for the clandestine artist known only as Clipart Covers.
His or her reworking of classic albums from the likes of Nirvana, N.W.A., Radiohead, Joy Division has certainly brightened up our day. Some covers remain fairly faithful to the original, while others take a more light-hearted approach – The Beatles and The Clash spring to mind.
Both work for us. More please, mystery clip art music lover.
