The weather might be getting warmer but Coach 1941 are already thinking about Autumn, with their new space-y pre-Fall capsule collection.
Taking visual cues from the dear ol’ boys of NASA and ‘60s flight-wear, the new drop is double-dope for its unisex styling and high-quality construction. Admittedly we’ve not done a side-by-side so cannot confirm as to whether the capsule’s run of flight jackets, parkas, varsities, and more are quite up to the standard of the once multi-billion-dollar funded Space Race program of the 1960s, but we’re willing to bet it’s pretty bloody good anyway.
The earth-adorned crewneck sweatshirt and olive green parka with white fur are our two favourites, in case you were wondering, while the black leather-panelled varsity jacket with the NASA badging is the obvious standout.
It’s all a nice take on classic Americana with the added bonus of alluding to looking up at the stars and thinking “Moon, you little bitch: I’m gonna be on you.” What could be cooler than that?
