Watch Michael B Jordan recreate an iconic Muhammad Ali photograph in new 'Creed II' trailer
Is that Drago's son we spy?
Creed was mighty good, in case you were wondering, so a sequel is a big fat YEP PLEASE from us, and also you, if you know what’s good for you.
So far, in the run-up to the release, we’ve had Sylvester Stallone sharing behind-the-scenes videos to drum up interest - and let us tell you it has worked - but aside from that, nothing official. No clips, no trailers, no nowt.
Until now. And it even features a reference to the iconic Muhammad Ali ‘underwater training’ pic, you know, the one that Michael B Jordan teased on his Instagram last year.
Punch your eyeballs with this banger and see if you can spot it:
That’s Michael B Jordan there, as Adonis Creed, son of Apollo, and Stallone as Rocky, obviously. Oh yeah, and real-life boxer Florian Munteanu as Viktor Drago, son of Ivan (Dolph Lundgren) - who annoyingly is absent from the trailer, even though we know he’s appearing in the film (he’s shared numerous training videos in preparation). The film also stars Tessa Thompson (Thor) and Evander Holyfield (Evander Holyfield).
Here’s a brief plot synopsis:
Adonis Creed Vs Viktor Drago.
The film is out November 30. Yes.
