Daisy Ridley on Episode VIII: "Luke Skywalker is so cool in this one"
Daisy Ridley talks filming Episode VIII, Luke Skywalker and filming the next movie...
Episode VII spoilers ahead, so if you’ve still not seen it (what is wrong with you) then be warned.
Daisy Ridley, AKA Rey from the new Star Wars trilogy, has been talking about working with Mark Hamill for the next instalment of the saga. And no, it’s not just the pair of them staring at each other from afar for the film’s duration.
“Me and Mark have been rehearsing a lot, and it’s really amazing,” she told MTV News on the red carpet at the Oscars.
“It’s such a good story. Seriously, Luke is so cool in this one,” she added.
It looks as though the production crew and cast headed back to Skellig Michael (an island in Ireland that doubles as Luke’s hideaway at the end of the last film) for the next episode’s footage. “It was crazy doing the same scene with a different crew of people.”
The film began production earlier this year, announcing that Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran have joined the cast.
Star Wars: Episode VIII is set to hit the big screen on 15 December 2017 - but you've got Rogue One coming this December to help take the edge off the wait.
